Break free of clutter and disorder and get your home organized

Confusion, loss of time, decreased productivity, and embarrassment and shame are signs of disorganized living and work environments. Functioning with greater ease and flow are paramount to having the lives we desire as well as the environments in which we function. When clutter and disorder rule these spaces, we lose inspiration, effectiveness, focus and joy. We are mired in the past of unmade decisions. We find ourselves expending precious energy and valuable time looking for things we can’t find, knowing we have the item but not sure where it is. This leads to further frustration and exasperation. Our time and energy is better spent elsewhere!

At Creative Space Organizing, we move you from fear and inertia to action to restore order, clarity, balance and flow wherever you need it most. How do we do this?

1. First we discuss the problem area(s) and ascertain what’s working and what isn’t. We don’t assume by looking at an area by its appearance that it’s not working. We ask you to make that decision. We help you use the space for its best purposes so that it serves you and your needs.

2. Next we get into action. There is a time to talk and a time to work. I am results oriented and I don’t like to waste time. I get the client into action as I pull out boxes, bags and things that have been hiding in corners for months or years. Everything comes out to be looked at and reviewed.

3. We start to sort and purge what no longer is needed and make decisions of what to keep. Paper is recycled or shredded and reusable items are sent out. I keep as much stuff out of the landfill as possible by recycling and dispersing items to their respective places of donation.

4. Everything has a home. Items don’t go into bags and boxes and don’t sit on floors. I like to have as many items contained in clear bins, clearly labeled and on shelving to keep floor areas clear. If new shelving or storage solutions are needed, then those are purchased to optimize the space.

5. Creating zones for your things makes sense because you now have designated places where everything goes and you can find it when you need it, as you need it. No more searching in exasperation. Voila! Easy and simple.

We work with you to achieve the goals you set–whether it’s an overstuffed garage to a home office overrun with papers–we will attain your goals and reclaim these spaces for their utmost use and beauty. And if needed, we can help beautify a space with suggesting new paint colors, redesigning with new furniture and repositioning artwork so it works best in the space and is shown off to its best effect.
